Colin at our ward party, August 2007As I was driving with Colin the other day, he saw a horse.
Colin: Mom, I really love horses. I bet you really love them too. I mean, you used to have to ride them to get around.
Me: Uh, no, not really. Grandpa had some on the farm, but I never really rode them much. We had cars, just like today.
Colin: But I thought you were born in the '70s. Wasn't that a long time ago?

Ya, you really are old! I was born in the 80's and we just barely had cars!!! Nice to hear from you and to see your little family!
I love this! The funny thing is, I'm sure you remember thinking that your 30 and 40 year old parents were ancient. I know I did. We are all ancient to them now. How cute.

That is too funny! Isn't it sad that we are considered so old? I was so happy to see a comment on my blog. I haven't checked your blog for a while since it's been a while since you posted. Way to get back into the swing of things right before the holidays hit and things get really busy again :) It was fun to catch up. Don't you guys ever come visit your in-laws? I keep hoping to see you visiting one Sunday, but it never happens.
